The aerodynamic issues that dogged Williams at the start of last year are behind them.

Cosworth have given them a stout yet nippy V8 and the designers have come up with a seamless shift gearbox to play with. It all adds up to a tidy package capable of giving any opponent a bloody nose on their day.

A big year for Mark Webber, who needs to take his qualifying form into races, and for rookie Nico Rosberg. The 21-year-old son of Keke, a world champion with Williams in 1982, looks the part and arrives as the inaugural GP2 champion.

A brave selection that deserves to come off.
