A Look Into The 248 F1's Radical Mirrors
Have you noticed the radical new mirrors of Ferrari's 2006 World Championship contender?
Ferrari have been making constant alterations to their mirrors since the beginning of 2005 and they now believe they have found the best solution.
The new mirrors have been mounted far to the side of the 248 F1's sidepods rather than the traditional cockpit mounted mirrors. This combined with the long stalk style of the mirrors was founded to be the best aerodynamic solution for them. Michael Schumacher has stated that although the mirrors are in a different position, they are not too hard to see out of: "The view is different, but it's no problem."
